The Wave - Vejle Denmark, Oktober 2019
The wave (in Danish "Bølgen") was designed by the Copenhagen architect Henning Larsen. The residential complex in the form of five big waves was completed in 2018 after 11 years of construction.
The architectural design received a lot of international attention and was awarded by the LEAF Award in 2010 and the Civic Trust Award in 2011. The individual building waves were completed one after the other and were then ready for immediate occupancy. The luxurious residential complex offers space for 115 apartments with living areas between 84 and 167 square metres. Due to the exclusive shore location on Vejle Fjord, all residents are offered a fantastic lake view and luckily a marina with rowing club on their own doorstep.
